One of a handful of truly exceptional vintages, 2002 will be remembered as generally dry and warm which lead to a riper character to its wines. Whilst still very much built for the long term, comparisons to its closest rival at the time, 1996, concluded that 2002 was the more generous and immediately appealing of the pair. An exceptional year without doubt, Boërl & Kroff produced one of its greatest ever iterations.
