Notes: A single estate expression from Camus (the Cognac house, not the absurdist author), made with eaux-de-vie from a single estate in the Borderies cru – the smallest of the Cognac regions, renowned for producing nutty, floral, aromatic Cognac. This VSOP certainly has some of those characteristics, and it’s really rather excellent indeed.
Tasting Notes: Soft cedar, orange oil, Brazil nut leading into vanilla blossom and butterscotch.
