Tasting Notes: Some umami notes in there among dark cherry and strawberry, toasted nuts and a whisper of smoke.
Other Notes: Another brilliant Pinot Noir from South Africa’s Crystallum winery, the 2019 vintage was produced with grapes sourced from four different vineyards. The grapes are naturally fermented, with half of the fruit de-stemmed, and the other half left as whole clusters, resulting in some nice structured tannins. A winner when paired with roasted meats.
