Tasting Notes: Dark and fruity with prunes, plums, and cherries. Wafts of vanilla lead perfectly into notes of fragrant woody tobacco and leather, with a touch of minerality and spice in tow.
Producer Information: A rich and robust 2017 vintage Rioja from Vina Izadi! Produced with 100% Tempranillo grapes, which are sourced from vineyards situated in three villages Villabuena, Samaniego, and Abalos – that form a triangle on the map. The wine spends 14 months maturing in a combination of French and American oak before bottling, enhancing the bold character even further. Should go very nicely with Spanish cuisine, especially a nice spicy chorizo dish.
