Tasting notes:
A fruit-forward wine with a richness and creamy texture due to the time on lees. The palate is dry, but has abundance of red berry fruit and cherry notes from the Carignan. Syrah adds structure and balance. This wine is made to enjoy now, but will age for a few more years.
In collaboration with Kurt Pio, Kahuri Wines is inspired to pay homage to the stunning Breede Valley and aims to produce a small batch of wine each year. Pio will reimagine South Africa’s beauty as the artwork for each of our wines. Mirroring closely to the taste, smells, sight and off course wines of the valley.
